LPOAC General Meeting

Meeting called by: Calvin Nolan. Last meeting minutes read by Marty Jones – Jeff and Bob approved/second, all in favor.
Introduce new people in the room and welcome them.
TREASURER REPORT: Checking Balance: $7307.17 (this balance includes the $2,000 Avista check for the fall derby); Kids Account Balance: $275; Petty Cash: $149. Expenses: Office supplies <$46.00>
OCTOBERFISH
We, the club supplies and printed the tickets. Tickets are located at Ralph’s. Chad Cadnum is the derby master and announcer. Ralph’s coffee shop is putting on the auction at the Captains Wheel. Chad said it would be nice if we could help get items for donation for the auction. Calvin has the original prize buoys. Should these be used or another form.
NEW SCALES – are here and were purchased by Jeff. These scales are certified and checked. We will place our name and number scales to be placed at weigh stations.
DUCKS – ducks at a minimum of $100 donation. If a person or company wants to put their name on the duck, they can purchase the duck for an additional $20 this will be used to restock the duck.
Derby master announcement will announce the sponsors of the ducks. The ducks that are released that day will be announced on the radio two times a day. Ducks will be turned in for prize money at the award ceremony, must have a derby ticket to redeem a duck.
DERBY T-SHIRTS –
- Deadline date to have sponsors for logo on T-shirt – October 17
- Need to have jpeg, vector logos to Gary B – by October 18
- $500 sponsorship for logo/name on back of derby shirt. Silver Corporate member ($500 member) gets their logo on the derby shirt.
- Sponsorship will be to the end of 2019 and will feature on both derbies, spring and fall.
Corporate sponsors with membership will be available at the auction.
Trophies for Octoberfish and the fall derby have been ordered – Thank Jim GaFFaney for this donation.
The club will order club hoodies, these will not be derby specific.
The status of the derby sponsors was talked about.

PayPal up on the site – still not operational – have programmer working on it.
NEW BUSINESS:
Calvin talked about Whiskey Rock docks – grants and possibly floating docks (example Dworshak).
Talked about lake levels and Kokanee numbers
OTHER BUSINESS – have LPOAC Hats available for $20 each
50/50 Jeff Miller winner and donated back to the club. Thank you – Jeff. Door prizes were donated by Jeff Laybourne and Sportsman’s Warehouse.
